Meet the Principal
Kay Cole
My name is Kay Cole and I have served 20+ years in education. I taught Special Education in Weatherford ISD working as a behavior and inclusion specialist. I also coached wrestling and tennis for the Roos. I have served as an Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, and Chancellor at Grand Prairie ISD where I gained valuable experience in CTE, dual credit, and transformational leadership.
While it is true I have served in larger districts, I am a country girl at heart. I grew up and graduated from Brock with a class of 22 students. I married my childhood sweetheart, Myron, and this June celebrated 44 years together. We have four beautiful daughters, four tremendous sons-in-laws, and 16 wonderful grandchildren.
I have a huge servant’s heart and I know and understand what a small, yet growing community and school district looks like, feels like, and is like. I know the sacrifices and commitments that are made daily by the community members, trustees, admin team, teachers, and staff to make Lipan ISD the place to be.
I cannot wait to serve alongside each of you while together, we make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of our students and community.
Go Indians!
